This Winter, dodgeball is expanding even more! More nights of play, new locations, and continued growth within our Women, Trans, & Non-Binary (WTNB) Division having it’s own day of play. See below for all the details!
With so many days of dodgeball, there is a league for everyone! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, our leagues are the perfect place to have a great time in a social, supportive environment!

SUNDAY – SMALL BALL
OPEN-DRAFT LEAGUE (SOCIAL/COMPETITIVE)
SUNDAY LEAGUE DETAILS:
Dates: January 21 – February 25 (6 weeks of matches)
Time: 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm (20 minute games)
Where: Village Community School, Upper Gym; 272 W 10th St, New York
Price: $100
Notes: There is no vet registration, only WTNB and open registration. Sign up quick!!

Dates: February 5th – March 11th (6 weeks of matches)
Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm (15 minute games)

Notes: Vet Status is determined by Monday Dodgeball Fall 2023 attendance. All eligible players will get an email before registration with instructions. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to weather, court, or venue availability.

THURSDAY – SMALL BALL
BRING YOUR OWN TEAM! (COMPETITIVE)
On Thursdays this winter, you get to play with your own small ball team! Sign up with a team (a roster of 8-12 people, or sign up as a free agent and get placed on a team.
THURSDAY LEAGUE DETAILS:
Dates: February 8th – March 14th (6 weeks of matches)
Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm (20 minute games)
Where: Hartley House; 413 W 46th St, New York
Price: $1,200 per team or $100 per free agent

FRIDAY – OPEN PLAY
SMALL BALL, BIG BALL… AND MORE!
In addition to our regular seasons, we’re continuing open play this winter! Though it’ll always center small ball and/or big ball, but we might try out different ball types again like cloth and/or foam dodgeballs if there’s demand for it, so you don’t want to miss out!
Our open plays are open and accessible to everyone! From a seasoned dodgeball pro to a person wanting to try dodgeball out before committing to a full season, this is a great opportunity to hone your skills, have some fun, and meet folks in our league!

February 16th- 7:00pm-9:00pm
Where: John Jay College of Criminal Justice (Haaren Hall, 4th Floor), 524 West 59th Street, New York
Notes: John Jay requires a valid form of ID to enter the venue.
FRIDAY OPEN PLAY REGISTRATION INFO:
If you aren’t planning on signing up for a winter league – but you want to stay informed about open play – please email dodgeball@bigapplerecsports.com to get added to the open play email list.
Everyone must register before each night of open play. There is a limited number of spots each week, so entry is first-come, first-served.
