Wednesday Night Kickball Draft League
We choose… all of you!
Hey Big Apple Family,
We’ve got some insanely exciting news! We know how much you love your kickball, so we’re adding a third (or is that fourth, thanks to Mostly Saturday?) day of Spring Kickball with our new Wednesday Night Draft League! As you probably guessed from the name, this isn’t going to be one of our standard randomized seasons, but will instead be following, well, a draft format!
Those interested in captaining this season should contact BARS’ Director of Operations (see below for more info) with an explanation as to why you’d like to take on the role.
If you just want to get out there to play and kick some balls, though, sign up during open registration and we’ll let you know when we’ll be holding our draft night to get you all on some amazing teams. And yes, everyone who registers will be drafted!
Wednesday Draft League Details:
When*: April 27 - June 15 (Rain Date: June 22)
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Where: Dewitt Clinton Park, West 53rd St & 11th Avenue
Price: $100 for 8 weeks of play
Wednesday Draft League Registration Information:
Potential Captains: Please e-mail our Director of Operations, Michael Wellbrock, at michael@bigapplerecsports.com by Wednesday, April 20 at 5:00 pm and explain why you’d like to be a captain.
Open Registration: Tuesday, April 19 at 12:00 pm
All players who register will be drafted to a team!
