Spring Bowling/Kickball/Monday Dodgeball Registration
It’s that time again, Big Apple Family! The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and spring is in the air, which can only mean one thing: BARS Spring Registration is here! We’ve got updates on Weekday and Weekend Kickball, Dodgeball and Bowling, so read on to find out all the details!
We also want to remind everyone that, starting this season, we’ll require all our players to be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots in order to participate in our sports.

Weekend Kickball
Unfortunately, with our good news, we also have an unfortunate update about Weekend Kickball.
Now that COVID has eased up, there’s been an influx of sports returning to their fields on the weekends, and despite our best efforts (and we have been trying everything right down to the last possible minute), we just weren’t able to secure fields from Parks & Rec for Weekend Kickball. Trust us when we say we’re just as devastated as you!
We haven’t given up, though! We’re still trying to track down weekend fields, and if we’re successful, we’ll update everyone as soon as we’re able. And if that happens, don’t worry Fall 2021 vets, we’ll honor your status whenever the season may be!
In the meantime, we’re just as committed as ever to providing our players with a safe, fun, weekend option, so we’re adding a Sunday Dodgeball league for all those looking for something amazing to try out.
If you’ve ever wanted to try out dodgeball, this is the perfect time to do it! Plus, if there’s one thing kickballers know how to do, it’s dodge balls — while running the bases no less!

Dodgeball
What’s that over there? Is it… more dodgeball already?! Oh yeah! A lot more dodgeball! Save the date(s) because we’ve got two leagues now!
Yup, you heard us right. This spring, we’ll have two dodgeball leagues for the first time ever: Sunday and Monday!
We’re still working out some details for our Sunday league, but set aside your afternoons because it’ll run from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the West Village. For first-timers wanting to try dodgeball out, it will tentatively be a no-sting league. This means that the balls will be slightly smaller than our Monday nights, which would make it a bit easier to get a handle on the game!
It’s fun, it’s fast-paced, and all our players are incredible, no matter the sport!
Monday League Details:
When*: March 28 - June 13 (12 weeks, 9 weeks of matches + 3 weeks open play) 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Newbie Night: March 21
Open Play Nights: April 4, May 2, May 30, June 20
