Big Apple Rec Sports- Monday Bowling - Spring 2024- Open Registration
We expanded to a second day of bowling during our winter season, and it’s been a HUGE success! We are again offering 2 different leagues this spring; both will be a striking good time!For those interested, we will be creating teams consisting entirely of Women, Trans, and Non-Binary (WTNB+) players for both bowling leagues. Non-specified bowling teams are mixed gender.
MONDAY LEAGUE:
Type: Social, Sign Up With a Buddy, Randomized Teams
Season Dates: April 22 - June 10 (8 weeks - skipping May 27)
Time: 8pm - 10pm
Where: Frames Bowling Lounge, 40th St & 9th Ave
We plan to continue our core values of sportsmanship, inclusiveness, and creating a safe space for our LGBTQ+ members and are dedicated to finding safe ways to promote those values.
As a reminder, please be sure to read our BARS Bowling Rules as a refresher on teams, how to play, attendance, etc. Please note, for Spring 2024, we’ve added in an additional rule under the attendance section of our existing rules – If you miss more than 50% of games within a given season, you will not be eligible to register for the next season.
Covid-19 Safety Precautions: We believe keeping LGBTQ+ and larger New York City community safe requires the participation and commitment of our members. Thus, we are asking all our members to agree and adhere to our community pledge, which is based on the recommendations of federal and local public health officials.
* Dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to weather, field, or venue availability. Teams are randomly assigned.
