Spring Dodgeball – League Details & Registration Info
We are so excited to outline our largest dodgeball season ever! Below you will find all of the registration dates, so you can start planning.
Before reading about the various leagues we’re offering, we wanted to take a second for a financial update: Because of rising costs associated with permitting, venue rentals, organizational infrastructure, and operational expenses – in addition to BARS not having raised prices over the last 10 years – we will be implementing small price increases for the spring. The pricing is outlined below.
In an effort to make our leagues more accessible and equitable for our players, we have multiple options for financial assistance; payment plans (for those wanting to pay over time) and discounted registration (for reduced league costs) are both available. GENERAL LEAGUE INFO:
- Teams for our Open Leagues are available to players of all genders. Our WTNB+ Leagues are available for our Women, Trans, Non-Binary (WTNB+) community.
- Our Social leagues are geared towards people who are just looking to meet new people, build community, and have fun socially while playing dodgeball. Advanced vets are welcome to sign up for Social leagues, but are also expected to foster a supportive atmosphere where newer players can learn the fundamentals at their own pace.
- Our Advanced leagues, while still focusing on the social aspects and building a community, are geared towards people who are looking to either improve their skills at dodgeball, or play with people who have a more advanced skill level or understanding of the game.
- If you have never played before (or never played in an Advanced league), you are more than welcome to sign up for an Advanced league! It’s a great way to grow your skills quickly while also making friends and having fun!
